Jillian Michaels, former trainer on NBC’s The Biggest Loser, proposed to her longtime girlfriend, Heidi Rhoades, a few months ago. The proposal was shared on the season finale of Just Jillian, in recent days.

“Heidi is the perfect person for me. The only place where there’s like a solace…a safe haven is with my family,” Jillian Michaels said in an interview with People magazine. “And Heidi is the nucleus of that family. She’s the glue that really holds everything together and I think without that, I would be lost.”

Heidi Rhoades and Jillian Michaels began dating back in 2009. They have two children. Daughter Lu is five and son Phoenix is three.

Jillian Michaels took to Twitter to thank fans for the many warm wishes she and Heidi have received since the proposal was aired on the Just Jillian finale.

Neither Jillian Michaels nor Heidi Rhoades has released word of when they’ll tie the knot.
