Jill Duggar of 19 Kids & Counting and her fiance Derick Dillard fell in love via Skype while he was in Nepal doing missionary work with Jill’s dad Jim Bob Duggar. Just a few short months after the two met in person they became engaged. Jill’s fans got to see the two meet for the first time on Tuesday night’s episode of 19 Kids & Counting.

“I’m like, ‘Oh my goodness, this could very well be my future husband,” Duggar excitedly told the camera as she awaited the first physical meeting between her and Dillard. “This could be the one!”

Introduced by Jill Duggar’s father, the two spent hours emailing back and forth getting to know one another.

“I’ve never missed someone so much who I’ve never met before!” Dillard said as he presented Jill with a bouquet of flowers the moment they met face to face.

“He was so sweet! He greeted me with flowers and yeah, it was crazy because I had been preparing for this moment,” Duggar gushed later about the meeting. “Everything just went really smoothly. [A] perfect moment.”

Fans are no doubt thrilled to have witnessed Jill Duggar meet Derick Dillard in person. Of course they’re all holding out for the ultimate excitement–to see the 19 Kids & Counting star get married. TLC is playing the courtship card for now, however.

Did you catch 19 Kids & Counting on Tuesday night? Are you excited about Jill Duggar’s engagement? It will be interesting to see what kind of ‘talk’ mom Michelle Duggar has with the first of her daughters to get ready to tie that proverbial knot–don’t you think?

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard will reportedly walk down the aisle on June 21st.
