Jill Dillard posted a loving tribute to her Instagram page today for the sister she never got to meet.

In November, 2011, Michelle Duggar announced on the Today Show that she was pregnant with their 20th child, even after the difficulties surrounding the birth of Josie Duggar. When Josie was delivered by emergency Caesarean section, weighing only one pound, six ounces, things had been touch and go. But Josie grew, developed normally once brought home four months later, and the family declared they wanted another.

But the baby announced in 2011 did not join the Duggars on their television show 19 Kids and Counting. Jim Bob and Michelle revealed in December that Michelle had miscarried. They named the unborn baby Jubilee Shalom.

That was three years ago. Today Jill Dillard remembered her sister with the Instagram post and this caption:

The Duggar family recently celebrated little Josie’s birthday with a trip to McDonalds.

Some of the older Duggar children are now married and having babies of their own. The 19 Kids and Counting show is as strong as ever.
