  • Jessica Simpson has been battling weight gain for several years now and although she has lost significant amounts of weight on several occasions she always seems to gain it back, especially during her pregnancies. Simpson gave birth to her son Ace in June 2013 and admitted that she was again overweight.

Simpson had lost the baby weight from her first pregnancy by using the Weight Watchers program and decided to do it again to lose the pounds she had gained. Simpson was already a spokesperson for the company and appears in several adds on television where she talks about her struggles with weight gain and why the program works for her.

“When I started Weight Watchers, I didn’t know what to expect at the meetings,” she said in a recent commercial for the company. “It reminds me we don’t have to do this alone. It’s so much better to have some back up since we all face similar challenges. I can honestly say I’ve never been happier!”

Simpson recently shared a photo of her newly fit body on Instagram and announced that she had met her weight loss goal and was happy with her size and weight.

Simpson’s weight loss has also brought her a newfound sense of confidence and she decided to celebrate meeting her goal by having a girl’s night out with friends. Just a few days after posting her selfie and showing off her body, Simpson posted another photo showing her and three friends attempting an awkward but innocent kiss at a club.

What do you think of Jessica Simpson’s weight loss and do you think she really did it all with the help of Weight Watchers?
