  • Jessica Simpson and her hubby, Eric Johnson, are obviously crazy in love.

The PDA-heavy duo showed the world their love on Valentine’s day weekend by posting some photos to Instagram that maybe should have remained in their private collection.

However, Jessica Simpson doesn’t have any regrets about the 50 Shades of Grey themed pics.

In fact, she defended the series of photos during her appearance on the Today show this week.

What Jessica Simpson had to say was casual, yet resonant.

She told Today‘s Savannah Guthrie, “Those kind of happen sometimes. I am not shy to be in love with my husband!”

Jessica Simpson took the opportunity to gush a little bit about her life as a wife and mother.

Of Eric Johnson, she said, “Marriage is unbelievable. I couldn’t be more in love, and he’s given me two of the best blessings I could possibly imagine.”

Those two blessings she is referring to are her two children, Maxwell, 2, and Ace, 20 months.

While the world has been enjoying the similarities in appearance between Maxwell and Jessica Simpson, she says that is sort of where the similarities end.

Jessica Simpson said of Maxwell, “She’s feistier [than me].”

Jessica Simpson added with a laugh, “Definitely! I am much more reserved, and she’s very opinionated even though she’s 2!”

She then clarified, “I’m opinionated, but I don’t yell it in your face!”

It sounds like Jessica Simpson is truly loving the family life and is too wrapped up in her love for her husband to really care whether or not people approve of her daring photos.

Perhaps more people should take a cue from Jessica Simpson on married life.

What did you think of Jessica Simpson’s risque photos? Too cute or too much?
