Not to be outdone by her older sister, 19 Kids & Counting‘s Jessa Duggar has recently been posting many pictures of her and her new husband smiling and locking lips, announcing that she is “married to the best guy in the world.”

Jessa’s sister, Jill Duggar, was joined in a “covenant marriage” to Derick Michael Dillard on June 21 of this year. They are already expecting their first child.

Jessa followed suit soon after, marrying Ben Seewald on November 1 at First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas before 1,000 guests, including Kirk Cameron. Although the couple opted out of exchanging a kiss at the altar that day, they have made up for it via Instagram and other social media outlets in the past few weeks.

It's great living life with your best friend! @ben_seewald

Recently there was a rumor that Jessa and Ben actually consummated their marriage at the church reception. Mary B, a guest at the wedding and a Christian fundamentalist blogger, wrote, “I am not sure why they would not wait for the evening to pray and then consummate God’s marriage … To hear so many people discussing what they inadvertently walked into was heartbreaking and troubling … I believe Jessa and Ben are in deep lust with each other.”

In fact, this is the reason that they didn’t share a ceremonial kiss, according to Mary B.

“Then came the moment we were all waiting for… THE KISS!” she wrote. “The minister said that the bride and groom were about to have their first kiss as man and wife… but they went into a room by themselves! He said they wished to share their first kiss privately. Every head turned towards the Duggar parents who looked absolutely stunned by this display. Michelle was shaking her head. Then, he asked the Duggar parents to kiss so we could all see a Duggar kiss. Jim Bob and Michelle were still in shock, but they obliged and quickly pecked on the lips.

“Afterwards, I heard Jim Bob and someone from TLC talking about altering the storyline to make it look like Jim Bob and Michelle were in on it the whole time.”

Mary B’s blog post has been deleted but Jessa still responded to the allegations by posting a Biblical quote on Instagram.

The question is: what does it matter? As commenter Iziggy20 wrote, “So what that ‘blogger’ failed to realize is that THEY WERE MARRIED! So who cares!”

Another non-traditional aspect of the wedding was the fact that there was no wedding cake. “I really don’t like it,” Jessa told People.

This week Bob and Michelle Duggar, the parents and heads of their TLC reality show, sent their own PDA picture to Jessa to cheer her on.

Looks like it’s a big love fest in the Duggar family.
