Jennifer Lopez has been hinting that she won’t return as a judge on the next season of “American Idol”, and now it looks like she’s confirming the rumors.

“I know everybody wants that definite ‘yes’ or ‘no,’ and … all I can let you in on is my own thought process with it, because that’s where I truly am,” Lopez said. “And the truth is, I love everybody. I love all the guys on the show. I love the family that’s there. Like I said, I’ve just enjoyed it so much. But I am thinking that maybe it’s time for me to go and do other things that I really love to do.”

Lopez is currently on tour with Enrique Iglesias, but says she wants to pursue her film career, which has been put on the back burner for a while now. Her tour schedule would conflict with the taping of AI, which could be another reason for the rumors. But then, almost everything J-Lo does is potential tabloid fodder; even cutting her hair.

Several people have been in the running to take Jennifer’s place, including Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas and former AI contestant Adam Lambert.
