Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are two of the biggest names in Hollywood right now, so it’s no surprise that they might soon be sharing the silver screen.
Rumor has it that the actress might play Pratt’s love interest in the upcoming sci-fi drama Passengers, which has had several people attached to it already. Jon Spaihts, who wrote Doctor Strange, is reportedly writing the script for the film, which tells the story of two passengers aboard a spacecraft who awake from cryogenic sleep nearly a century before everyone else and end up falling in love.
Passengers drew the attention of Keanu Reeves and Rachel McAdams in 2013, but McAdams pulled out last year before the Weinstein Company dropped it. While nothing has been confirmed, space travel wouldn’t be anything new for Pratt, who starred in the mega-successful Guardians Of The Galaxy last year. His next project is Jurassic World.
Jennifer Lawrence, meanwhile, has been making headlines for her photo shoot with Vanity Fair for the March issue, which included a giant boa constrictor draped around her nude body. The Hunger Games actress was reportedly as brave as Katniss Everdeen when it came time to pose with the snake…until it got a little too close to her neck.
“Lawrence only became uncomfortable when the snake took a fancy to her neck. Then the shoot was over and Mr. Boa went back into his box,” said Vanity Fair’s Krista Smith.
If Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are indeed set to star with one another on a major film, the only question now is how the two of them will keep straight faces the whole time, as they’re both known for their silly senses of humor.
Jennifer Lawrence can be seen next in Hunger Games: Mockingjay–Part 2 before she moves on to X-Men: Apocalypse.
