Jennifer Lawrence recently braved the Black Friday crowds in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky while she was home for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The Hunger Games star was spotted meeting with family and stepping out to grab some deals over the long weekend, dressed down and without makeup so as to be incognito. Lawrence recently spoke about shopping, saying she will always be irritated by extravagant prices no matter how long she stays in Hollywood.
“It doesn’t matter how much money I make, unfairness in prices really fire me up. Like shopping in L.A. and a T-shirt costs $150,” she told The Telegraph.
The star looked as adorable as always over the weekend, pairing a long, comfy coat with jeans and a hat that pulled her hair away from her face.

Lawrence recently landed herself a Top 40 hit in the UK with her rendition of “The Hanging Tree”, which she sings in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. The haunting tune has also hit number 2 on iTunes and made Spotify’s “Viral 50″ this week. The song’s massive success makes it hard for some to believe that the actress didn’t originally want to sing it in the film due to her fear of performing in front of people.
“I do not like singing in front of other people. It’s like my biggest fear. I cried on set that day,” she said recently.
