Jennifer Lawrence may like to try new things, but she won’t be trying out Facebook, Twitter or any other social networks anytime soon.
Lawrence recently talked about Twitter and said that she doesn’t even know what it is, but is sure that she wouldn’t understand how to use it.
“I will never get Twitter. I’m not very good on phone or technology. I cannot really keep up with emails so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me. I don’t really understand what it is. It’s like this weird enigma that people talk about. It’s fine. I respect that,” she said to CBS News.
“But no, I’ll never get a Twitter,” she added. “If you ever see a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter that says it’s me, it most certainly is not.”
There is an official Facebook page for the star, but she doesn’t maintain it, her rep does.

It’s easy to understand why Lawrence would prefer to stay away from social media, considering the recent nude photo scandal. Lawrence was one of several celebrities whose nude photos were stolen and shared online.
Lawrence was very upset about the incident and while she has tried to forget about it, it seems like the media continues to bring it up every chance they get.
Shortly after the incident, Lawrence talked to Vanity Fair and shared her feelings about the photo hack.
“Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this. It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe that we even live in that kind of world,” she said.
Maybe Lawrence will change her mind and give social networking a try. If so, hopefully she has a better experience than what she expects.
