The well known actress, mother of three, and wife to Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, has accomplished a lot in her 41 years. However, there is one thing that she has yet to do, and that is being in a fashion campaign. That is, until now!

Garner has officially signed on to be the “fresh face” of Max Mara’s new fall campaign. Italian brand Max Mara, is known for “effortless elegance, as exemplified through its simple silhouettes and neutral color palette, and boasting timeless modern design”. Not only is this Garner’s first time appearing in a fashion campaign, but it is also the first time that Max Mara has used a celebrity spokesperson to market their line.

Chairman for Max Mara, Luigi Maramotti told WWD, “Jennifer Garner is a real woman, not a cover girl, not a starlet, and she has different interests, a family and values. She is a real woman and embodies the Max Mara woman, she perfectly reflects our image.”

Garner says that she is a natural for this campaign with Max Mara. “My style is pragmatic,” said Garner. “I like to wear garments that have a real luxurious texture and feel good against the skin.”

Garner poses in the photos, for photographer Mario Sorrenti wearing a luxe camel coat and Max Mara’s new statement handbag, the JBag.. “I like the size of the JBag,” Garner announced in a statement. “I like that it’s big enough to carry anything you want to stuff in there, but it’s small enough that you won’t lose your keys!”

The campaign will run through Fall 2013 to Spring 2014, and will feature 5 images of Garner.
