  • Hollywood couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced they were splitting up on June 30 while on a vacation in the Bahamas with their children.

The family was  together in celebration of Affleck and Garner’s 10th wedding anniversary, as both value their family and sensed the importance of being united on that day.

Now ex-couples, the two left Baker’s Bay, a restricted resort community where they own a house, separately.

Affleck, who will be busy promoting his new movie Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, left for Los Angeles last Friday.

Garner continued her vacation with the children, 9-year-old Violet, 6-year-old Seraphina and 3-year-old Samuel until Sunday.

The actress and her kids left for Atlanta, Georgia where she will be working on a new movie herself, a drama film entitled Miracles From Heaven.

A person close to Affleck revealed to US Weekly that the actor was very much upset about the divorce and was having a hard time coping since he does not have many friends and would usually turn to Garner for support.

When the Daredevil actor left the Bahamas, he was seen still wearing his wedding ring and wore baseball cap low to cover his eyes.

Since the breakup, the two have agreed to reside close to each other so they can co-parent their children, the source further disclosed to US Weekly.

The Gone Girl actor plans to stay on the family’s property in Pacific Palisades, California.

People close to the estranged couple believed that both parties worked hard to make their marriage work.

But in the end, the estranged couple have grown apart and realize that splitting up is the best decision for them and their children.
