Jennifer Aniston has always been in great shape, and her trainer said recently that it’s due to her consistencies in diet and workouts. However, she did say that the television and film star sometimes needs to focus on one area, and when that happens she simply “tightens”.
“Jen’s a very consistent exerciser and eater. But when she has something she needs to focus a little more on, she just tightens it up a little bit,” Mandy Ingber said.
Aniston spoke recently about her body, saying that at 45 years old, it’s always easy to drop even a few pounds.
“These days, if I was being super picky, I would love to drop five pounds. That is just where I have always been really comfortable at about 110 to 113 pounds. But it is harder to get that down, at this age,” she said.
Aniston also spoke up about online bullying recently, saying that even she isn’t immune to it. Because she’s a prime target for paparazzi, there are always photos floating around of her on the web, which means there’s always a chance for cruel comments.
“The truth is you just go, ‘If they get a picture, that picture comes and goes, so who cares?’ Then you have 30 mean people who sit at their computers and spend their entire day picking apart and insulting celebrities about how ugly they are just so they can feel better—I guess—about themselves. I don’t understand it…there is also this pressure in Hollywood to be ageless.”
Ingber spoke a bit about her friendship with Aniston, saying the actress taught her the importance of hydration and that she brings positivity wherever she goes.
“She’s an incredibly inspiring woman. An incredibly positive person, it’s so obvious, everyone that works around her is doing really well, it’s a lot because of her positivity is very contagious…Jen is definitely somebody that has encouraged me to hydrate, she is a hydrator from way back in the day. That’s definitely one of the tips I use because I have so much more energy when I drink. When you stay hydrated, you’re not as hungry. Sometimes when you think you’re hungry, you’re actually thirsty.”
