Jennifer Aniston and Kate Hudson got cheeky with one another on the red carpet at Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards, with Aniston grabbing a handful of Hudson’s backside as the two of them made the rounds to speak with reporters, and she wasn’t the only one inspired by Hudson’s shapely figure; Matthew McConaughey and Paul Rudd also reportedly reached out and gave her appreciative pats, as well.
Hudson, who models for her own Fabletics line of workout gear, wowed the crowd in a curve-hugging white Versace gown with diamond details along the sides and back and a plunging neckline that left little to the imagination. The petite star told Ryan Seacrest that she and Jen Aniston are “comfortable” with one another and didn’t appear put out at all when the Cake actress grabbed her butt and said, “Irresistible!”
Aniston appeared playful and in good spirits on the red carpet, saying she felt like a kid despite the pressures of the big night. Although she eventually lost the Best Actress in a Drama award to Julianne Moore, Aniston has been lauded for her portrayal of a woman who falls in love with a widower in Cake, a movie in which she wears no makeup and takes quite a turn from any role she’s played before. The character, Claire, suffers from chronic pain and ends up addicted to pain medication.
“For me, it was really important to stay true to what the medicine I was taking physically would be doing to my body and at what point. It turns out if you walk like that for five weeks, you do actually become in pain,” she said.
