  • Halloween might be the best time of year for celebrities hiding from the paparazzi.

Newlyweds Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux tried to evade photographers on Friday by wearing matching black-and-white masks.

The famous couple, who got married in August in a secret ceremony, came out of the popular celebrity hotspot Chateau Marmont, and boarded a black car wearing the creepy masks.

Aniston sported a skull mask while Theroux went for a somewhat cute but equally creepy dalmatian mask. Despite the menacing costumes, they both managed to make them look good with their formal outfits.

Upon closer inspection, Aniston can be seen wearing the same chandelier earrings and strapless black-and-white Kaufmanfranco dress she wore to the 29th American Cinematheque Awards, which took place earlier that same day at The Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Aniston attended the annual fundraiser along with fellow actors Kate Hudson, Sofia Vergara, Laura Dern, and Robert Downey, Jr.  to honor Reese Witherspoon.

The two actresses developed a friendship when Witherspoon played a recurring role as Aniston’s sister on the hit TV sitcom, Friends.

The lovebirds have been enjoying married life lately, attending various events together and spending quality time at their Bel-Air mansion.

Theroux appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show recently and gushed about being married to Aniston and calling her his “wife.”

He also mentioned Aniston’s dislike of motorcycles, which happens to be one of Theroux’s favorite pastimes.

In a conversation with celebrity makeup artist Bobbi Brown, Aniston shared that she was happy that she and Theroux managed to keep the wedding private and devoid of photographers.

“It was amazing. We were determined to keep it just private and to ourselves,” said Aniston. And the thing is, we haven’t even seen pictures. But, you know, it was just everything we wanted it to be, and [we are] very happy that we didn’t have to see our faces on the cover of a magazine.”
