But for once, Will Smith felt compelled to address the divorce rumors and took to social media to say his piece. On his Facebook page, the Suicide Squad actor admitted that he doesn’t “usually respond to foolishness” because it’s contagious. But it seems the endless questions and people extending their “deepest condolences” to the alleged end of his marriage were too much. “So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness… Jada and I are…NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!” wrote the actor.

The Gotham actress, who shares two children with Smith, has talked about her marriage before and acknowledged that “marriages go through shifts, and relationships go through shifts because in life things shift.”
The 43-year-old Magic Mike XXL star says that people just automatically assume they’ll be divorcing whenever there’s a rough patch.
But for Pinkett Smith, the scrutiny she experiences every day regarding the state of her marriage is nothing compared to what other women and families go through, and for that she’s grateful.
“There are mothers out there losing their sons, their husbands, their daughters. I’m blessed,” Pinkett Smith explains. “So scrutinize me. I’ll take that any day over what the majority of my people are dealing with on a daily basis.”
