Ireland Baldwin, American fashion model and daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, has been in headlines before. At the age of 11, she gained recognition after her father left her an angry voicemail which became publicized through media outlets.

This morning the 18-year old is hitting headlines again after posting a racy picture on her Instagram account last night.

Ireland was pleased with her recent makeup job and wanted to show it off on the online photo-sharing site, thanking her “dream team” of makeup artists. Though she appears topless in the picture, she added a hashtag clarifying that she was actually wearing a towel, though it is not visible in the photo.

Ireland is no newbie when it comes to showing skin. Earlier in the day she posted another picture of herself on the beach in a bikini.

Also, in January at the Sports Illustrated’s 50 Years of Beautiful party, Ireland wore white and black minidress with a plunging neckline, which actually showed more than her Instagram makeup photo from yesterday.

According to the Inquisitr, the reason Ireland first got into modeling was because she wasn’t comfortable with her body. Her mother, Basinger, encouraged her.

“She thought it would be good for my confidence because I never thought of myself as a pretty girl,” the 6 ft 1 in tall model said.

But another reason Ireland had some apprehension was because of the way her parents were followed by the paparazzi.

“I would look at [my parents] and go, ‘Jesus, how miserable is that?’ I didn’t want to be followed,” she said.

In fact, following after her hotheaded father, the young model went on a rant about the press last summer in a series of angry Twitter posts:
