Apple has done a bad job of containing all the leaks concerning the iPhone 5. Sure, it might be a well-played campaign to drum up hype, but there has been an abnormally large amount of leaks. Interestingly enough, all of the leaks so far have been of the black iPhone with none ever surfacing in the traditional Apple white… until today.
A photobucket account belonging to user meme_168 has just posted what he claims to be a picture of the front panel for the new iPhone 5. He couples it with a shot of the back of the panel. It seemingly confirms what we’ve known for a while now about what the new iPhone.
The new iPhone will still continue to play host to the singular button on the bottom. It will also feature the larger 5-inch screen with the FaceTime camera directly above the speaker instead of to the side.
The new front panel design was seemingly confirmed back in June after a patent drawing from Apple surfaced showing off the elongated screen. Every leak of the front panel so far seems to confirm this so it’s safe to assume that the new iPhone will definitely be getting a size upgrade. Other fun rumors include the iPhone 5 getting a quad core processor which may be contributing to device’s reported battery problems.
