Back in May, Sony released a long video featuring developers from Sucker Punch. The studio had been working on the upcoming inFAMOUS Second Son for a while at that point, and the video teased all the cool graphical and gameplay changes enabled by Sony’s next-generation console, the PlayStation 4.
At E3 Second Son was shown off even more, with a five-minute gameplay video showing off what appears to be some pretty fun gameplay elements and open-world exploration.
Today, Sony released a developer diary for Second Son. The video focuses on the particle effects for one of the early power in the game, smoke. Sucker Punch developers talk about trying to make smoke feel fun and how that super-move from the end of the gameplay trailer was designed:
