Something delicious is coming...

According to the @Android Twitter account, we can expect a chocolatey, creamy Ice Cream Sandwich in our near future.

The Android account tweeted for the first time Thursday afternoon, even though the account itself has existed since September 29th. In that short time, they have already amassed over 53,000 followers and their count is growing rapidly. Here's how they announced themselves to the world:

Their Ice Cream Sandwich tweet confirms what we just learned - that the big Google / Samsung event has been rescheduled for October 19th in Hong Kong. It will broadcast live on Android's YouTube Channel (at 10 pm EST on October 18th). That event was supposed to go down on October 11th but was postponed out of respect for the late Steve Jobs.

The above link is to a video of the erection of a big Ice Cream Sandwich Android statue at Google headquarters. It joins other statues of previous OS' like the giant Gingerbread man and the Honeycomb.
