  • AT&T announced today that it will begin selling the HTC One X+ on November 16. The smartphone will cost $200 with a new two-year contract and the company will begin taking pre-orders for the device today, November 13.

For those on a budget, AT&T also announced that the HTC One VX will also be available starting November 16. The VX will cost $50 with a new two-year contract.

HTC may have been having trouble lately in comparison to Samsung, but the company’s devices are solid. The HTC One X+ has a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, a 2100mAH battery, a 4.7-inch screen, and 64GB of internal storage. The device will come with the latest Android version, 4.1 Jelly Bean. Unfortunately for purists, the device will have HTC’s Sense UI layered on top of the OS. In fact, AT&T stated that the “HTC One X+ will also be the first smartphone in the U.S. to feature performance iimprovements and benefits of HTC Sense 4+.”

The HTC One VX will not come with HTC Sense 4+, and will instead run HTC Sense 4 on top of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. There are plans to upgrade the phone to Jelly Bean and Sense 4+, but no date was announced. The VX device features a 4.5-inch screen, a 5MP camera, and NFC capabilities.

HTC fans can pre-order without having to worry about the One X+ being held up due to an Apple lawsuit. HTC and Apple settled all of their patent disputes this week and agreed to a decade-long cross-licensing agreement.
