Radio jock Howard Stern may have recently promised to change his deviant behavior while he’s acting as judge for “America’s Got Talent“, but that didn’t stop him from bashing fellow reality show judges Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears recently.

Stern says his goal during the upcoming season of the talent show is to give real, honest opinions on the performances, because to do otherwise would be doing a disservice to the participants, and that’s exactly what other judges do.

“I don’t understand what she’s doing there,” Stern said about Lopez. “If I sit in a beautiful dress and just tell them they’re wonderful, they’re not going to get anywhere.”

Regarding Britney, who’s been tapped to judge “The X-Factor” for its upcoming season, Stern said, “I think it’s a wonderful decision. Britney still thinks the earth is flat. I don’t anticipate great opinions from her. I think she’s gonna sit there like J.Lo, ‘Oh, you’re wonderful, you’re terrific. You think I can get a perfume endorsement out of this?’…I’ll tune in to see what kind of train wreck she is.”

Though Stern insists he understands that “America’s Got Talent” is a family show and doesn’t require his usual salty antics, it will be interesting to see if he actually tones down the harshness, especially since a group called the Parents TV Council has called for advertisers for the show to bow out in light of his reputation.

TV watchdog group says trusting Howard Stern to behave on America’s Got Talent is like “trusting North Korea”. http://t.co/Jtwc4h2B(image) 19 hours ago via web ·  Reply ·  Retweet ·  Favorite · powered by @socialditto
