Netflix’s House of Cards: Season 2 has been filming since well before Season 1 was winning Emmys, and now, it’s finally about to wrap.
Showrunner Beau Willimon tweeted today:
In 10 hrs we'll finish filming & wrap Season 2 @HouseofCards. Thanx to @netflix & the stellar cast & crew! pic.twitter.com/ZFyLcJC24W

Can you feel it getting closer?
While no release date has been set for Season 2 yet, the first season debuted in February. It’s hard to say if they’ll get the new one out at the one-year anniversary, but if they do, it’s really not that far off.
It remains to be seen if House of Cards will continue past Season 2. One of the show’s producers recently suggested that it would probably be the last one, but Netflix has been implying that it would like to keep it going. We’ll see.
House of Cards is currently up for a People’s Choice Award, facing off against other Netflix titles Arrested Development and Orange is the New Black.
