Less than a month ago, Netflix released the second season of House of Cards. Shortly thereafter, it announced a release date for its other big name show Orange is the New Black. But don’t forget, there was another show that came out between the first seasons of those two shows last year – Hemlock Grove.
So far, no announcement has been made for the show’s second season release, but it is expected soon. And why not if we already have a date for OITNB?
Hemlock Grove debuted in April last year, and the announcement of the second season came in June.
Shooting reportedly wrapped, and people involved with the show have said a release date will be announced soon. Zachary Stieber at Epoch Times reports:
W. Andrew Powell of the blog The Gate further said, after taking a tour of the set and interviewing most of the cast members, that the season 2 release date will be announced “in a few weeks.” And that was on February 11.
Executive producer Eli Roth also said on February 20 that the season is “coming soon.”
The second season will be shorter than the first at ten episodes. It has picked up Charles H. Eglee of The Walking Dead, Dexter and The Shield fame as an executive producer.
