No Doubt singer-songwriter Gwen Stefani has announced that she and her husband Bush frontrunner Gavin Rossdale are expecting their third child.

While the announcement of the pregnancy was rather stationary, the way in which she revealed the child’s gender was another story. The “Hollaback Girl” singer hit social media to share the news of her baby’s gender with fans.

Yesterday, Jan. 17, the singer took to Facebook and Instagram posting a picture of herself with a crown on. While the picture looked relatively normal since its Gwen Stefani, it served a significant purpose, and the caption revealed it all.

It read, “I was ready to hand over the crown, but I guess I am still queen of the house! surrounded by boys…”

In a nutshell, Stefani has been the queen in all of her surroundings for quite sometime. From the stage with No Doubt, to the Stefani-Rossdale household, she’s always been the queen of her castles, and she was ready to pass her crown to a little successor. However, that won’t be happening because the couple is expecting yet another baby boy!

According to MTV News, Stefani was actually rumored to be pregnant back in September of 2013. However, the L.A.M.B. fashion designer didn’t give confirmation until October when the growing baby bump spoke for itself at an event the following month.

Back in December of 2012, the SAG award nominee sat down with Vogue Magazine where she actually opened up about the domestic side of her life. “I have all these boys in my house!,” she exclaimed. Stefani also explained how parenthood has affected her marriage with the Bush rockstar.

“It’s pride … You feel proud. There are just so many rewards that come with it. You have to work at it. But, actually, it’s fun to get to this point because you learn so much about somebody. It’s like these wars that go on and then you kind of get through it to the other side, and it’s like, ‘Wow,’ ” she said of their marriage.

“And obviously, you get stronger,” she continued. “And then having kids takes the whole relationship to another place. It is the ultimate collaboration. Both of us have such strong opinions about how it should be, and it’s really fun to do it together.”

Stefani and Rossdale have been married since Sept. 14, 2002. The couple has two sons Kingston, 7, and Zuma, 5. Rossdale is also the father of a 24-year-old daughter, model Daisy Lowe, 24, from a previous relationship.
