Android users are happy this morning as Foursquare has once again updated their app to bring back a once-popular features.

This time, Foursquare has put points back on check-in pages.

That's not the only new feature to ship with this update. Foursquare has also added a bold typeface for shout-outs and friend mentions for check-ins, as well as a new reporting mechanism for users to weed out bad tips that are spammy, offensive, or simply no longer useful. Just head over to the tip detail page to file your complaint.

There's also a new categorization for venue photos. Foursquare has moved the cream to the top, showing you the most relevant photos at the beginning of your stream. They also claim that you will no longer suffer any duplicate photos for locations.

This isn't the first time Foursquare has updated their Android app in the past couple of weeks. Back in September, they shipped an update that brought back another popular feature - "nearby friends" view. That update also included new check-in suggestions that appear at the top of users' friend feeds. "Looks like you're near Bill's Deli," it may say. Users can make one single tap to take them to the check-in screen, or dismiss the suggestion if it's wrong.

Foursquare also recently added OpenTable integration to both the iOS and Android apps for easier reservations within the app.

So, what about all of these recent changes? "Hooray for the return of points and details to check-ins! Hooray for anticipating which nearby venue I want! Hooray for general polish and speed! ... ... It's been a long time coming, but the Android Foursquare app is finally good again," said one reviewer.

You can download the new app today from Google Play.
