Today Microsoft and Playground Games released a launch trailer for the upcoming Forza Horizon. Though this “launch” trailer seems a bit premature (the game will launch on October 23 in the U.S. and on October 26 in the U.K.), fans of the Forza series will enjoy the pretty landscapes and sexy cars.
The new trailer, seen below, also serves as the reveal for the release date of the demo for Forza Horizon, which will be available on Xbox LIVE on October 9th. The demo will feature the roads of Colorado and several different cars. Players will also get to experience a street race over a representation of Finley Dam. After completing several of the events, players will be able to compete against each other to set faster times. A section of the game map will also be available, giving players a taste of what is to come in the full game.
Xbox LIVE members who play the demo and then purchase the game will receive a custom 2013 SRT Viper GTS, which Microsoft states was designed to highlight the “gone-gold” status of Forza Horizon.
