Former Public Enemy member and reality star Flavor Flav was arrested early this morning on a domestic violence charge after an argument with his fiancee’s teenage son turned ugly.

Flav–whose real name is William Drayton Jr.–lives in Las Vegas with fiancee Liz and her son Gibran, as well as their son Karma. TMZ is reporting that when things got physical during an argument with Liz, her son stepped in and Flav threatened him with a knife. He was taken into custody and booked on felony assault with a deadly weapon and battery.

Flav has had some bad press this year, notably after appearing on a celebrity version of the show “Wife Swap”, which saw him taking in Twisted Sister singer Dee Snyder’s wife Suzette for a week and doing his own thing, leaving Suzette to run the household.
