Facebook Tests “Like Page” Button on Desktop

Facebook is always trying to come up with ways to promote pages, and they may be testing a feature that was recently added to mobile on desktop.

Earlier this summer, Facebook added a giant “Like Page” button to some posts on their iOS app. Let’s say your friend shared a post from Radiohead. Under that shared post, you may see a long “like” button that allows you to quickly like Radiohead’s page without ever leaving your news feed.

The big “like” button also appears when a friend (or another page you follow) tags another page in a post:

That’s what it looks like on the iOS app. Now, Facebook looks to be testing a similar feature on desktop, allowing users to like pages from the news feed.
