Let’s just say that it’s pretty amazing how Facebook is able to keep pushing out new features to developers each and every week. This week’s Operation Developer Love details two big changes coming to the platform that are worth playing around with.

The first big change is the introduction of Facebook Offers to the API. As we previously reported, Facebook Offers is a service businesses can use to publish deals for their fans on their Facebook pages. Now these businesses can create and manage said offers through the Facebook API. Facebook notes, however, that Offers is available in “self-service to a limited set of Pages in New Zealand, Singapore, Australia, Japan and Turkey.” Offers will be rolled out to more places in the coming weeks.

Another big addition is real-time insights. This makes more insight metrics available in real-time, or if you prefer to be more technical, refreshed every 15 minutes. You can view documentation here. The metrics are:

The platform also published its usual bug report. There were 165 bugs reported and 27 of them were fixed. The fixed bugs range between issues with JavaScript affecting games to login issues with iOS.
