Facebook Gives Some Page Admins ‘Pages To Watch’ Module

Facebook evidently wants businesses to keep track of their competitors’ pages on the social network, as some admins have spotted a new “Pages To Watch” module in the admin panel.

Working from a tip from Blue Mark Digital Director Nick Ring, AllFacebook has some screencaps. The module reportedly appears in place of the Insights module, which seems kind of odd.

The module says, “Track the progress of any Pags you want to watch. You’ll see how many likes they get and receive tips on how to keep up.

Pages to Watch

It then proceeds to give the admin a list of suggestions for pages to add to the feature. There is of course a search feature as well. You can see what that looks like in AllFacebook’s post.

It’s unclear whether this feature is rolling out to all admins, or is just in testing. We’ve reached out to Facebook for comment, and will update accordingly.

In semi-related news, Facebook announced today that it is starting to roll out Graph Search to all users in the U.S.

Update: Facebook says this is a test and not something that’s rolling out to everyone at this time.
