Actress Erika Christensen, best known for her role as Julia Braverman on the hit NBC series Parenthood, married cyclist Cole Maness outside of Palm Springs, California on Saturday.

Both the actress and her new husband lead a rather private life these days, and not many details about their engagement or nuptials were shared in the media. Erika Christensen has shared lots of photos via Instagram in the past few months that show just how deeply the two are in love.

Erika Christensen and Cole Maness became engaged back in November of 2014. In addition to a sweet picture of the two announcing their engagement, she has shared photos of the two enjoying this summer, as a countdown to their marriage.

One shot shows Erika Christensen on the back of Cole Maness’s bike.

In another shot the couple is visiting an aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia.

“The Atlanta Aquarium made me feel like a kid! Magical,” she captioned the photo of the pair against a backdrop of blue water and beautiful sea creatures.

Fans no doubt miss seeing Erika Christensen on Parenthood. The show ended in late January.

Now, at the very least, they can quietly wish the actress well as she embarks on a new–even more important–endeavor. She is now Cole Maness’s wife.
