From the outside looking in, one would think that Hollywood actresses are completely content, since they have fame, loads of dough, and plenty of adoration.
Plus, 90 percent of the women acting in Tinsel Town are absolutely beautiful, so why would any of them feel jealous about one of their colleagues?
Emma Watson could definitely answer that question, as the 23 year old said she’s envious of other actresses, because many of them didn’t have to grow up in front of the camera like she did.
In addition, Watson says at times she wishes she would have lived more life before becoming a famous actress, because she missed out on a lot of things.
“There are all these actresses who have emerged in the last year or two, and they get to emerge as this complete human being, said Watson in an interview with Elle magazine. “And I’m so jealous.”
Clearly, the British born stunner is referring to the string of actresses that have charmed audiences and received all kinds of accolades in the past couple of years, like Jennifer Lawrence and Lupita Nyong’o for example, because both of these actresses–and others like them–didn’t really hit their peak of fame until they were adults, so obviously they were able to learn, fail, and try new things without being in front of the watchful eyes of the general public.
Watson says she envies this, and is a bit bothered she had to experience a lot of important moments, like a first kiss, on a movie set.
“It really struck me,” she said. “I don’t know how or why, but I had this sense that if I wasn’t really careful, that could be me….that my first kiss could be in somebody else’s clothes, and my experiences could all belong to someone else.”
Currently, Watson is promoting the film Noah, which will be in theaters on March 28.
