Emily Blunt started preparing early for her appearance on Lip Sync Battle where she will duel with Anne Hathaway.

Of course, when going up against a vocal and performance powerhouse like Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt knows she must pull out all the stops.

In a preview for Thursday's show, Emily Blunt is shown preparing for her epic showdown with Anne Hathaway in some funny and unusual ways.

For the best performance, Emily Blunt must find just the right sunglasses to pull off her Janis Joplin-inspired look.

"These aren't her glasses", Emily Blunt moans after trying on a pile of sunglasses that weren't quite right.

Emily Blunt also takes a few stabs at her competition, saying, "I've been screaming at everybody pretty much all day, because I don't want a voice. And I guarantee that Anne Hathaway is in full voice right now. You can't use that here. Thanks, anyway."

Emily Blunt is going to have to work pretty hard to beat this:

In a couple of shots, Anne Hathaway is shown with her head in her hands and doing some weird stuff. Emily Blunt also pokes fun at Anne Hathaway's secret creative process and claims that Hathaway has been taunting her, as well.

Emily Blunt said, "Finally she called me and said 'Okay, listen, I'm doing "Beethoven's 5th".' And I went, 'There aren't any words in that.' And she just hung up."

In one shot, Emily Blunt threatens Anne Hathaway in a verbal way, saying, "I'm going to pick up your feet and mop you."

What a hilarious preview! It will be exciting to see just how awesome Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway are at lip syncing.

What do you think? Will you be watching Lip Sync Battle tonight to see whether Emily Blunt or Anne Hathaway will come out on top?
