Elijah Wood was in Back to the Future Part II. A lot of people don’t realize that, but it’s true. He was 8 years old, and it was his first scene in a movie.

The actor appeared on Conan this week and discussed the movie and Back to the Future Day, which took place on Wednesday. This was the iconic day from the film, which you’ve no doubt been seeing celebrated heavily all over the Internet and otherwise.

Even Toyota showed off a concept Tacoma to honor the day.

As Conan notes, Elijah Wood’s character and his friend wear green colanders on their heads in the film, which is luckily a style that didn’t come true like some of the other things in the movie.

Of course Conan and Elijah do make it come true after showing the clip from the movie.
