“Eastbound & Down”, Danny McBride’s raunchy baseball comedy series, will air one last season on HBO before throwing in the towel.
The show wrapped up its third season last year, and the fourth is currently being filmed in North Carolina despite rumors that it would never happen. Reportedly, HBO execs convinced McBride, who is ready to move on to other projects, to stick around to wrap up the series. The new episodes, which premiere in September, take place in the future and show what becomes of Kenny Powers after he settles down.
