Dwayne Johnson, better known to most as “The Rock”, had to undergo emergency surgery after his April 7th wrestling match against John Cena.
Johnson suffered torn abdomen and abductor muscles during the match, which he lost, but the 40-year old action star seems to be in good spirits. He tweeted about his condition on Monday, saying it was “good pain”.
Surgery a success! Dr repaired 3 hernial tears (fun pain). Superman is on the mend.. #WeFallWeRise twitter.com/TheRock/status…

The surgery required him to miss out on attending the premiere for his latest film, “Pain & Gain”, which also stars Mark Wahlberg. He thanked his fans for all the well-wishes and is taking his loss in the ring fairly well, considering the match was in defense of his title.
“In the middle of last night’s Wrestlemania match I tore my abdomen & abductor muscles off the bone. Just part of the job,” he posted on Twitter. “But as we know… It’s all about #JustBringIt. WWE Universe, THANK YOU for all the love & well wishes. Means everything to me. #LeaveItAllInTheRing.”
