Are Demi Moore and Kiefer Sutherland dating? The rumor is making its way around the proverbial mill. You must admit, they’d be an intriguing couple.

According to a report from Entertainment Tonight, it’s fiction, although Sutherland is extremely honored by the rumors.

“First of all, as honored as I would be if that were true, it is not true,”the actor said. “Demi is a friend of mine.”

Sutherland added that rumors like this one about him and Demi Moore come with the territory.

“You have to kind of ride with it and try to clear things up as much as you can,” he explained.

The rumors likely stemmed from Demi Moore starring alongside Kiefer Sutherland in a new film that was released this weekend. Forsaken is a western, in which Demi Moore plays his character’s love interest.

“I just think she’s an extraordinary actor and she has a real pioneer spirit,” Kiefer Sutherland said. “I think of the women that helped break through to the West of this country, and helped develop the West of this country. They were incredibly strong and Demi is an incredibly strong woman.”

He adds he was impressed by Demi Moore’s dedication to her role from the start.

“To her credit, I remember the first day I saw her on set, and she wasn’t wearing any makeup,” Sutherland recalled. “She had taken on the role with that kind of gyrator that I was so impressed with. I can’t speak highly enough of the work that she did in the movie, and how I think of her as a person.”

Forsaken marks the second time Demi Moore and Kiefer Sutherland have starred opposite one another in a film. They starred in A Few Good Men back in 1992.
