It is nice to finally see Britney Spears happy and settling down with a man she reportedly “loves”. Two months after her separation from her former agent and fiancé, Jason Trawick, Spears met her new love, David Lucado. Now, after eight months, Spears is confessing her love for Lucado and says she can even see them getting married one day and having children together.

“I’d like to have more kids, settle down…have kids—maybe twins—and get married,” Spears said. “That would be nice.” Spears already has two children, 7-year-old, Sean Preston, and 6-year-old, Jayden James, by her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

ET’s Rob Marciano had a hear-to-heart with Spears on her flourishing relationship. “I’m in love … I like the fact that he’s very stubborn and he’s stuck in his ways.,” Spears said. “He’s just a simple man. I adore him. He’s really funny and he’s really passionate. I love the fact that anything he’s involved in he’s passionate about and it’s contagious.”

Spears and Lucado met through mutual friends, and once he learned about their relationship, Spears’ father ran a background check on Lucado. “My dad’s a little crazy like that,” Spears said. As the old saying goes…better safe than sorry.
