  • After many years of being in CSNY, Graham Nash is splitting with the group due to a feud with bandmate David Crosby.

Nash is complaining about Crosby’s “awful” behavior and rude emails. “I don’t like David Crosby right now. He’s been awful for me the last two years, just f**king awful. I’ve been there and saved his f**king ass for 45 years, and he treated me like s**t,” Nash told the Dutch magazine Lust for Life (via Billboard).

“When it goes on longer, and I keep getting nasty emails from him, I’m done. F**k you. David has ripped the heart out of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young … How can I not be sad?” he said, blaming Crosby for causing the end of CSNY.

Nash revealed that the band was on the verge of splitting ever since Crosby made hurtful remarks about Young’s relationship with American actress, Daryl Hannah. Crosby eventually apologized for his insensitive comments against Hannah.

Crosby also allegedly caused Young to refuse to reunite with the band. David Crosby made an insulting tweet after the guitarist had told the audience that he would no longer play with CSNY. “I know at least 20 better guitar players than Neil 3 in Snarky Puppy alone,” Crosby tweeted.

Nash confirmed to Billboard that he is totally done with the group as he does not want anything to do with Crosby. “In my world there will never, ever be a Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young record and there will never be another Crosby, Stills and Nash record or show,” he said during the interview.

After spending so much time with the band, Nash said it is about time for him to focus on his own solo career. His album, This Path Tonight is scheduled to be released in April 15.
