Your Daredevil adventures are far from over.
Netflix and Marvel have announced that the blind crimefighter will return for a second season, following the success of the first season, which premiered earlier this month.
The second season will land some time in 2016 – but an exact date is yet to be specified. There’s no word on the plot of the second season, either.

Showrunner Steven S. DeKnight, who helmed season one, will be replaced with Doug Petrie (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, American Horror Story) and Marco Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy).
“While previous commitments unfortunately prevent me from continuing on with Daredevil into its second season,” DeKnight explains, “I could not be happier that Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez are carrying the torch. They were invaluable collaborators during our first season, and I for one can’t wait to see what they do with the show moving forward.”
Daredevil has been a critical hit for Netflix, currently boasting a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 75% on Metacritic. Fan buzz for the show has also been off the charts. A second season of the gritty crime drama seems to be a no-brainer for Netflix.
