Daisy Lowe may have a huge modeling career and two very famous parents, but that doesn’t mean she slacked off in school. In fact, she says she was inspired to do well by a famous actress who had also attended her school.

“Going to South Hampstead was really academic and you’re really pushed to want to do things for yourself. I was quite happy to work really hard. Helena Bonham Carter had gone there and I love her. She’s always been a massive idol of mine. I really loved sciences – that’s what I got all my A*s in!” she said.

Lowe–who calls Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale and fashion designer Pearl Lowe Mom and Dad– said in a recent interview that after she’s started a family of her own, she’d like to go back to school.

“When I have kids, I’ll go back to university. The university of life has been good for me,” she said.

Lowe says that, along with her love for school, another thing fans might not know about her is that she’s fanatical about keeping things tidy and neat, something that irritates her friends.

“I love cleaning so my hands get dry quickly. I’m really obsessed with cleaning, all my friends call me OCDaisy. I think it’s from being a kid – I was always made to make my bed, which is a good thing but it really winds my mates up because it means it takes me ages to get out of the house. Tidy house, tidy head,” she said.
