Playing the role of Zaya, Courtney Eaton stars opposite Gerard Butler, Brenton Thwaites and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in the film that sets out to save all of mankind.
Gods of Egypt is about the survival of mankind, left hanging in the balance when Set (played by Gerard Butler), the god of darkness, usurps Egypt’s throne and plunges the empire into serious conflict. Hoping to save the world–as well as rescue his true love–a mortal named Bek (played by Brenton Thwaites) forms an unlikely alliance with the god Horus (played Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). Their battle against Set and his cronies takes them into the afterlife where they are in for en epic confrontation.
The film sounds a bit dark–don’t you think? Perhaps that’s at least part of why Courtney Eaton donned such a bright, sparkling dress to wear to its premiere. It will certainly be interesting to see what the actress wears in her role as Zaya.
A relative newcomer to the big screen, Courtney Eaton starred as Cheedo the Fragile in the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road. She was a fashion model before setting her sights on acting.
