  • Connie Britton has officially signed on for a part in Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story: The People Vs. O.J. Simpson.

The Nashville star will be playing the role of Los Angeles socialite Faye Resnick, who was a good friend of Nicole Brown Simpson’s.

The series features Connie Britton and Cuba Gooding, Jr. as O.J. Simpson.

American Crime Story: The People Vs. O.J. Simpson will also star John Travolta as Robert Shapiro, David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian, and Sarah Paulson as Marcia Clark.

Connie Britton starred in the original season of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story.

Connie Britton will be doing all 10 episodes of the season, which is based on Jeffrey Toobin’s best-selling book The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson.

Ryan Murphy announced the news that Connie Britton was coming onboard via Twitter.

The first season of American Crime Story: The People Vs. O.J. Simpson will focus on the case from the perspective of the lawyers that were involved in the infamous case.

This season will also explore the messy hidden deals and moves on both sides of the court.

This season will also show how a combination of prosecution confidence, defense sneakiness, along with the rocky relationship between the LAPD and the city’s African-American community swayed the jury into having reasonable doubt.

Sounds interesting! Connie Britton was amazing in American Horror Story: Murder House. She is really great in Nashville.

Connie Britton is sure to shine in American Crime Story: The People Vs. O.J. Simpson.
