Coco Austin and Ice-T are having a baby. This will be the couple’s first. Ice-T, who has starred for 17 years now on Law & Order: SVU has two children from a previous relationship. The 57-year-old also has a grandson, who is 20, who was arrested last summer when he accidentally killed his roommate.

Coco Austin, who is significantly younger than Ice-T at 35, has long said she wanted to have a baby. When the couple starred in their own reality show–Ice Loves Coco–she was told by doctors that she needed to get her blood pressure to a healthy level before conceiving.

The couple announced the pregnancy on New York’s Fox 5 on Monday.

“It shocked us how it happened so easily,” Coco Austin told the show’s hosts. “Now that I have a little thing inside of me moving around, it’s amazing.”

Word of Ice-T and Coco Austin’s baby-to-be broke Friday following the taping of Monday morning’s show. In addition to a baby, Coco Austin and Ice-T have a new daytime TV show that debuts next week. Ice & Coco will likely follow the couple throughout the pregnancy.
