Well it appears that the rumors of her returning to the group have been confirmed, and the band is officially back together again. Christine McVie, after quitting the famous musical group Fleetwood Mac several years ago, has rejoined the lineup.
In 1998, Christine McVie singer left the group in order to live a quieter life in the English countryside, but it seems that she is ready to be a part of the spotlight again, and months ago she said that she would like to be a part of the band again.
The British-American band has now officially been reunited, and the news of McVie’s return has been teased about since she performed one song, “Dont Stop,” with the group in September of 2013.
At the age of 70, McVie has decided to get back in the music scene and perform with the band while they are still touring.
She became a big part of the band in the early stages, and even married John McVie in 1968, before he joined the group in 1970. John was diagnosed with cancer in October of last year, and the band was forced to halt their tour, although he seems to be doing better now.
In a recent interview, Stevie Nicks said that “He’s good. He’s gonna be fine. I’m not the least bit worried about John. He’s very, very strong and a man of very few words. He’s not a person to mess with.”
Christine McVie was responsible for writing hit songs such as “Don’t Stop,” “Say You Love Me,” “Little Lies,” “Hold Me,” and “You Make Loving Fun.”
The news was officially confirmed when the band’s publicist, Liz Rosenberg, reported that “McVie has indeed re-joined Fleetwood Mac and we are hoping to make an announcement about a possible tour for the full tilt Macsters some time in 2014.”
With McVie a part of the group again, it reunites singer/songwriters Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham, who were the principle writers for five of the group’s studio albums.
Since Christine McVie left the group in 1998, Fleetwood Mac has only released one studio album, “Say You Will,” and a four-song EP, “Extended Play.”
Over the weekend, Mick Fleetwood, one of the co-founders of the group, confirmed that Christine McVie had rejoined the group in front of a crowd in Maui, Hawaii.
Christine McVie is rejoining Fleetwood Mac so basically I should just open a separate bank account and label it Fleetwood Mac fund.

I've been waiting for Christine McVie to rejoin Fleetwood Mac the way Christians have been waiting for Jesus to come back.
