Chris Wallace owes Kelly Clarkson a big apology. The Fox News Sunday anchor made a very derogatory comment about the singer during a radio interview on Friday, and now many people are outraged by his rude behavior.
It was on The Mike Gallagher Show that Mike Wallace got carried away with his mouth. He and the host began dishing on Little Caesar’s bacon-wrapped pizza when the conversation spiraled. Neither of the men behaved in a gentlemanly manner.
“Have you seen Kelly Clarkson? You know the singer, Kelly Clarkson? Holy cow, did she blow up,” Mike Gallagher said, steering the conversation in an unacceptable direction.
“Really? Do we want to talk about some of your friends? Kelly Clarkson’s got a lovely voice,” Chris Wallace said.
And then he got in on the diss.
“She could stay off the deep dish pizza for a little while,” he said.
Seriously? Fox anchor Chris Wallace said Kelly Clarkson could "stay off the deep dish pizza" http://t.co/UjvsJBSEy5

This isn’t the first time Kelly Clarkson has been dissed for her weight since giving birth to daughter River Rose Blackstock back in June. It was about a month ago when British TV personality Katie Hopkins very cruelly said Clarkson looked like she had eaten her backup singers.
It was while she was a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that Kelly Clarkson spoke out about the hurtful comment–the first one.
“I love that people think [the topic] is new. Like, welcome to the past 13 years,” she said. “I yo-yo. Sometimes I’m more fit and I get into kickboxing and hardcore, and then sometimes I don’t and go, ‘Nope, I’d rather have wine!'”
Do you think Kelly Clarkson will respond to Chris Wallace and Mike Gallagher’s unkind remarks as well, or does she figure they’re not worth the effort it requires to comment?
What’s your take on Chris Wallace’s remark? Being a Fox anchor, he surely knows better.
Do you agree he owes Kelly Clarkson an apology?
