If you know who Chris Brown is, you undoubtedly know that he waged a very public assault against his ex-girlfriend, singer Rihanna, which left her bruised and bloodied. But apparently, someone thinks that a fan willing to buy Brown’s new album might not be aware of the incident, and has placed warning labels on all the singer’s discs at HMV stores in London.
The label reads, “WARNING! Do NOT buy this album! This man beats women!”
Although no one has claimed responsibility for the stickers, it’s widely believed that they were placed on several copies of “Fortune” by anti-domestic violence activists. Despite the best efforts of the party responsible, Brown has already debuted at number one with the album in the U.K. and in the U.S.
