Charlotte McKinney was voted off Dancing With the Stars on Monday night, but what seemed to hurt the sexy Carl’s Jr. model more than being sent home was a very rude remark judge Bruno Tonioli made.

“You’re never going to win the Nobel prize for quantum physics, but you are easy on the eyes and you produce wonderful shapes,” Tonioli said to Charlotte McKinney.

“To be honest, I just really thought it was uncalled for,” McKinney said on Good Morning America of Bruno’s comment. “Especially the week before, I’ve really been trying to be used as a platform for social media bullying and really just stop any negativity and just talk about being positive, and it just came out of nowhere.”

Despite being a victim of a type of bullying–in the form of this most unkind remark–Charlotte McKinney put on a brave face for the remainder of her interview with Robin Roberts.

“It was silly but sometimes on live TV you just forget. I mean, I’ve heard it all. At the end of the day, just shake it off,” she said.

She added that she wasn’t shocked by her elimination because she wasn’t able to devote as much time to practicing as she would have liked.

“After shooting all day or any press all day and then going to practice you’re just emotionally, physically drained,” she explained. “I just think I had too much stress during all this and I didn’t get to focus.”

Both Charlotte McKinney and The Bacherlor Chris Soules were in jeopardy of elimination on Monday night based on last week’s performances. Ultimately it came down to Charlotte having the lowest overall number of points–a combination of viewer votes and judges’ numbers for her cha-cha.

“I learned so much from this experience and I’m so grateful and it’s been such an amazing ride and it is what it is,” Charlotte McKinney said, adding that her pro dance partner, Keo Motsepe, is now a “great friend that I’ll have for a lifetime.”

Were you surprise to see Charlotte McKinney eliminated on Monday night from Dancing With the Stars? Did you expect Chris Soules would have been the one to go home instead?

And what’s your take on the unkind comment Bruno made to Charlotte? Was that not totally uncalled for?
