Ladies and Gentlemen, are you ready? After the success of the 2012 hit Magic Mike, a sequel is on the way.

The popular film delved into the fantasy life of male strippers, and starred a slew of talented cast members including: Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Olivia Munn, and Cody Horn. Though contracts have not been signed to finalize who will be returning, it is anticipated that the majority of the cast will return for the sequel. According to Tatum, "I think everyone's gonna be back, I think, and obviously nobody's deals are done."

Tatum took some time after winning the coveted Trailblazer Award during the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday to speak about the upcoming sequel to Magic Mike, which will be called Magic Mike XXL.

"We don't want to make it some serious slice-of-life movie. We want to have real, like reality in it, but we don't want to make like some dark drama. There was some darkness in the last movie and I think it surprised people and shocked people. This one, we want to have a lot of conflict and a lot of struggle, but we also want there to be a sh-- ton of fun. A sh-- ton of ridiculous stuff that you would never see in a movie, on the face of the earth, ever again," Tatum said.

The movie garnered such a fan-following that even a Broadway show has been created based on the story.
